Hey there,

I illustrated a kids’ book a while back, it’s still in print, and you will have a chance to meet me (and 48 other local authors — some are really famous!) and buy my book this coming Saturday morning at the Bushnell-Sage Library’s annual Authors Day, from 10 am to 12:30 pm. The library is just off Main Street (Rte 7) in Sheffield, Mass.

Here’s the cover of the book.

It’s called “Theo, the Blue Rider Pigeon,” and it’s the more or less true story of a pigeon who gets blown around on a blustery November day, and winds up at a very special horse barn. The watercolor drawings show many of the barn horses, plus the other barnyard critters that live there — a couple of cats, a goat, some chickens, and one big fat pig named Rollo. The story is perfect for ages 3-5. Published by Bell Pond Books, a division of SteinerBooks and the Anthroposophic Press.

Here’s another picture from the book.

There will be about a dozen other children’s book authors, plus poetry, memoir and mystery writers. Hope to see you there.
